Tracie Akridge Hodges

Tracie Lee Akridge Hodges, age 40 of Macclenny, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 20, in Jacksonville. Tracie was born on April 16, 1981 to the late Mr. Thomas Wayne and Mrs. Barbara (Childs) Akridge Sr. in Jacksonville. She would go on to graduate from Florida Community College at Jacksonville with her Associates of Arts and Sciences and would work as a radiology technician. Tracie loved cooking and baking and was known for her delicious pound cakes. She enjoyed watching crime shows such as Criminal Minds, as well as reading. She also had a love for the outdoors, especially fishing. Above all, Tracie was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother: Thomas Akridge Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved children: Griffin Hodges, Garrett Hodges, and Evelyn Hodges; mother: Barbara (Raymond) Cullinan of Glen St. Mary; sister: Trista (Josh) Sweat of St. George; boyfriend: Michael Plunk of Macclenny; ex-husband and the father of her children: Roger Hodges of Raiford; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and close friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Raiford Road Church. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
