Tracy Lynn Motes, age 50 of Baker County passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Memorial Hospital. Tracy was born on August 11, 1971 to the late Mr. Jay Dean and Gladys (Duval) Canter in Bristol, Tennessee. Tracy was a dedicated mother for many years and loved spending time with her family and especially her grandkids. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains and taking in the scenery.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Joey Canter.
She is survived by her daughters: Kayla O’Brien of Jacksonville, Chelsey (Tommy) Goodman of Kentucky, Kari (Jordan) Tutwiler of Arizona, and Sherry Lynn Davis of Macclenny; grandchildren: Timothy Hudson, Chrystine Hudson, Kaydin Smith, Khyler Smith, Kailyn Smith, Isiah Parker, Turner Goodman, and Tatum Goodman; brothers: James (Carolyn) Canter of Toccoa, Georgia and Jack Canter of Jacksonville; sister: Sharon Canter of Jacksonville; as well as extended family members.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
