Vicki Lynn Wright

Ms. Vicki Lynn Wright, age 61 of Macclenny, passed away at home following an extended illness on Monday, September 4, 2023. Vicki was born in Blackshear, Georgia on December 30, 1961 to the late Mr. James M. Turner and Ms. Inez (Smith) Bruckner. The family would move to Baker County and she would graduate from Baker County High School.

In her younger years, Vicki loved horseback riding and being outdoors. She was rather crafty, enjoying crocheting and drawing. She also enjoyed collecting native American figurines. Above all, Vicki was an adoring mother who was proud of her sons and the men they had become.

She was preceded in death by her father: James Turner and her brother: Michael Proctor.

She is survived by her sons: Tyler Wright of Macclenny and Logan (Katie) Wright of Orlando; two grandsons: Miles and Ollie; her mother: Inez Bruckner of Macclenny; siblings: Patty (Timmy) Thomas and Craig (Jennifer) Proctor both of Macclenny, Chris Proctor of Georgia, Debbie (Mike) White of Callahan, and Regina (Shannon) Bradburn of Maryville, Tennessee; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home with Rev. Timmy Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Final memorialization will be by cremation.
