William Taylor Obituary

William Guy Taylor, 63, of Crawfordville, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011. He was born in Panacea, Florida to the late W. Monroe and Minnie Lou Porter Taylor. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the Apostolic Light Church in Perry, Florida. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting and fishing, cooking, southern gospel music and was an avid FSU Seminole fan. He was also a skilled carpenter. Survivors include: wife, Betty Brumbley Taylor, sons: Brandon and Wayne Durrance, William Taylor; daughter: Lisa (David) Gardner; brothers: Amos (Rita) Taylor, Robert (MaryAnn) Taylor, Steven (Malissa) Taylor, Mitchell (Rhonda) Taylor, and Richard (Kathy) Taylor; sisters: Rochelle (Henry) Smith, Dorothy (Michael) Hall, and Wanda (John) Lynn. Nine grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Family will receive friends, Friday, October 7, 2011 at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church, Crawfordville, Florida with Reverends James Box and Bruce Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Panacea Park Cemetery, Panacea, Florida. Arrangements are under the care and direction of FORBES FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Florida. 904-259-4600.
